Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 3:6, "My work was to plant the seed in your hearts, and Apollo's work was to water it, but God, not we, made the garden grow in your hearts." (TLB)
The Children's Ministry at TACC comes alongside parents by teaching children Scripture, biblical foundations and life applications. Our goal is to help children come to know Jesus personally, grow in that relationship and learn how to share Him with others. We use quality Christian curriculum to teach God's Word in understandable and practical ways.
The word AWANA is an acronym taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Our AWANA club is part of an international ministry where kids get together weekly to memorize scripture, play games and earn awards as they learn to love and serve the Lord. Our mission is "to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him." AWANA meets September through May for kids age 3 to 6th grade.
