In a post-christian culture evangelism may be both scary and challenging, but we can't ignore God's call to go and make disciples. What can we do to move past obstacles and show the love of Christ? Check out this great article by Matt Chandler, Everyone You Meet Will Live Forever: Evangelism in an Age of Unbelief, for some practical ways to reach the lost wherever you are.

Romans 12 is one of the most critical chapters in the New Testament. It’s the start of the “therefores” after 11 chapters of the Gospel’s message and reputation in Romans 1-11. This blog post by Michael Kruger will be helpful as you formulate your responses in a gentle and respectful way.

There aren't that many truly helpful books on evangelism these days. Books that scratch us where we should be itching. However, Mack Stiles is one of those guys, one of those guys who really understands the dilemma the American church is in - we've skated for too long.

Here are some good words about everyday evangelism. Most of us wish we were bolder, had more non-believing friends, had more experience answering hard questions (why do we suffer, etc.), well...we wish we did the evangelism piece better. The blog link by Mez McConnell doesn't answer all our difficulties, but he does gives a few pointers in the right direction. (And, by the way, Mez, you have a cool name).
