Unsearchable, beyond tracing out, inscrutable, unfathomable, past finding out

Elephants circle the herd to protect the hurt, suffering, and injured. Should we do any less? Fling open the door to grace, reach in, and love someone in their pain.

Valentine's Day can be difficult when we are left with unmet expectations. Find true contentment in the Lord.

The holidays are over and the new year has begun! What a great time to review our walk with Christ, renew our commitment to Him and refocus the use of our time and talents to accomplish the Lord's purposes.

The New Year with its pristine blank calendar pages often brings with it resolve for change. Resolutions are made and fall by the wayside quickly discarded and forgotten. How can true change be achieved? In Christ alone.

Learning to be content in a world focused on having the latest, greatest, and more requires study and practice and a focus on finding satisfaction in Christ alone.

The world shouts at us to be and look a certain way and when we fail to hear God over the shouting of the media it can lead to poor body image, eating disorders, and a struggle with doing and creating in our power. What happens on the Monday following Easter when the candy and discarded broken and bent baskets are heaped into the clearance bin and the backdrop shifts? Our excitement and joy may wane and the treasure become less distinct. John Piper believes this is the time we should draw upon the strength of our brothers and sisters sharing ours in return as "...our worst spiritual and emotional collapses often follow in the wake of our happiest, most victorious experiences."

Loving others with the same ferocity, compassion, and selflessness as Jesus.

Shifting focus from holiday expectation to celebration of Christ

What does it mean to live in a way that acknowledges that "Christ is in you" and we are in His presence always? How can we be "Christ" to each other...intentionally loving each other as Christ first loved us?

The more we immerse ourselves in Gospel truth the more we are captivated by Christ. Our desire to know Him grows exponentially and we become more purposeful in our pursuit; cultivating inexpressible joy at the foot of the Cross and in the presence of God.
