Learning to be content in a world focused on having the latest, greatest, and more requires study and practice and a focus on finding satisfaction in Christ alone.

The world shouts at us to be and look a certain way and when we fail to hear God over the shouting of the media it can lead to poor body image, eating disorders, and a struggle with doing and creating in our power. Keeping our eyes on God helps to remind us it is not in our power that things change but in God's grace.

How is marriage defined? What does it represent? Is it all about mutual feelings or something bigger?

God speaks through His living active Word to reveal to us His character, His thoughts, and His attributes to teach us who He is and how to bring Him glory. If we have trouble hearing Him, the Bible is a good place to start listening.

Believing Christians are a work in progress. The work begins at the cross and is continual until our last breath. Christian maturity is achieved through growth in Christ and is accompanied with a love for others and a desire to live in community.

It is this love; Christ's love, that creates unity in the midst of diversity; quelling hostility and fostering humility. It is there when we lose our self importance, that the ability to truly serve and love others comes into sharp focus.

From the depths of your heart radiates truth. The beauty of a soul tuned to the Lord is reflected in the words. Let your heart reflect Jesus and the inward changes He has made in you and rivers of living water will flow out to others.

We stand as witnesses to the miraculous and divine daily if we stand "in Christ," as believers, as Christians.

Do clothes really make the woman? Is outward appearance truly a reflection of success and well being. If we look a certain way will it solve all of our ills?

Seek after God and look not for the mundane but the bold and the stunning! Be awed by the transforming power of the Gospel.
