Speaker: Michelle Gennaro Lapp
Michelle Gennaro Lapp is the co-founder of Someday Refuge and former missionary with Africa Inland Mission (AIM). Michelle has a powerful story of how God walked with her through the unexpected loss of her husband Chris (Kelly’s brother) while they were serving in a remote village in Lesotho in 2013. After the tragedy Michelle and five of their six kids relocated to Kenya, and ultimately returned home in 2015 to mobilize new missionaries with AIM. Michelle’s memoir, Worst Case Scenario: Finding Overwhelming Rescue in the Promises of God was released in 2023 and chronicles the ways God worked in and through her story. Today Michelle is remarried and she and her husband Brent operate Someday Refuge, a ministry offering soul care retreats for ministry leaders and missionaries.
