1. Discuss the various stances we can take as believers with the world: fortress, withdrawal; domination, accommodation, self-righteousness. How do these stances effectively keep us from being a missionary people? How might these stances effectively keep non-believers from taking part in our church activities?

2. When we think of missions we think of missionaries in foreign countries that we support. Why is it hard to think of ourselves as missionaries?

3. Who are the three people in your life who are the most ornery? Why might they be most open to friendship?

4. Does God’s call ALWAYS require sacrifice?

5. What teachings of the Bible are the hardest to accept: the uniqueness of Jesus as the only way to heaven, the sinfulness of all humanity, others?
