What is Worship?
Worship is a response to who God is and what he has done. At Taft Avenue our goal of worship is to surrender to God for the sake of giving him honor and glory. Worship can often function as simply an honest conversation with God. We worship God because we know that God is good and because we’ve seen his goodness in our own lives. When we gather as a church to worship him, we are simply responding to his glory and goodness.

The goal of our Sunday morning worship service is to allow space for us to encounter God as we glorify him and seek to present ourselves honestly before him.
We want our Sunday morning to be engaging and purposefully tailored to provide time and space for powerful moments of glorifying God while also allowing for thoughtful reflection on who He is and what He has done for us.
"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you" (Psalm 63:3)
