The holidays are over and the new year has begun! What a great time to review our walk with Christ, renew our commitment to Him and refocus the use of our time and talents to accomplish the Lord's purposes.

Operation Christmas Child provides the opportunity to bless a hurting child with presents and the greatest gift - Jesus Christ to children worldwide.

Believing Christians are a work in progress. The work begins at the cross and is continual until our last breath. Christian maturity is achieved through growth in Christ and is accompanied with a love for others and a desire to live in community.

It is this love; Christ's love, that creates unity in the midst of diversity; quelling hostility and fostering humility. It is there when we lose our self importance, that the ability to truly serve and love others comes into sharp focus.

TACC Women's Ministries hosted "In the Garden" a ladies outdoor brunch. June Hetzel, Biola Dean of Education, spoke to those present about the importance of prayer.

Vulnerable authenticity enables others to love us where we are, to meet us in our pain, to pray specifically, and to support us when we are suffering.
